About Us

Why RagLock Exists

With over 27 years in fire restoration, I respond to 3–5 oily rag fires every year. Most homeowners don’t realize that rags soaked with linseed oil, stain, or other oil-based products can ignite on their own through spontaneous combustion.

I created RagLock to provide a simple, safe, affordable way to store oily rags until proper disposal. This container is designed to help reduce air exposure and lower combustion risk, and make homes and job sites safer.
